Congratulations to Professor Fred Wudl who has recently been honored for his pioneering work in conducting polymers, novel organic materials and organic photovoltaic devices with the 2014 Spiers Memorial Award by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Past Spiers award winner include numerous Nobel Prize winners and is a great indication of the impact that Fred's work has had in many different areas.
